HOW IT WORKS
OUR PROCESS, SIX STEPS
Every counter gets the same six steps, in the same order.
CLEANING AND PREP
We scrub off every bit of grease and old wax, then sand the surface so the epoxy grabs on tight.
STEP 1
REPAIR
Chips, cracks and worn edges get filled and smoothed. A flat start makes a flat finish.
STEP 2
MASKING AND CONTAINMENT
We cover your cabinets, floors and appliances. Your kitchen stays clean while we work.
STEP 3
BASE COAT
A bonding base coat goes down first. This is the layer that locks everything together.
STEP 4
COLOR LAYER
This is the fun part. We hand blend the color and veins you picked, right on your counter.
STEP 5
PROTECTIVE TOPCOAT
​Last comes the clear topcoat. It seals the color in and takes the daily wear for you.
STEP 6
BACKSPLASH REMOVAL & TILE-READY
We take out the old tile and leave a flat, clean wall your tile installer can start on right away.
We use a pro grade epoxy system, not a kit from a big box store. It cures into one solid, sealed surface with no seams for crumbs or water to hide in. Set down a hot pan, cut near it, spill red wine on it. Wipe it up and move on.
