WHAT FIVE DAYS LOOKS LIKE
OUR PROFESSIONAL 5 DAY PROCESS
Every job runs the same five days, in the same order, with the owner on site.

DAY 1
PROTECTION & PRECISION LABELING
We seal off the kitchen with dust containment barriers and magnetic dust doors so the rest of your home stays clean. Every door and drawer gets removed, numbered, and labeled so it goes back in the exact same spot. Countertops and floors are fully covered before any work begins.
WHY IT MATTERS
This is what separates a professional cabinet painter from a residential painter that says yes to every job. They under bid professionals while making mistakes along the way you never see.
No mixed-up doors, no dust in your living room, no surprises.

DAY 2
DEEP CLEANING & SANDING
We degrease every surface to strip out years of kitchen buildup, grease, and grime. Then we sand with a Festool™ dustless system that pulls dust out of the air as we work, not after. This step is what makes the paint bond instead of chip later.
WHY IT MATTERS
Most cabinet paint jobs that chip or peel within a year skipped this step. We utilize Festool Sanders and extraction systems, top of the line equipment with top of the line results.
It's the difference between paint that lasts and paint that doesn't.

DAY 3
SPECIALTY BONDING PRIMER
Not every primer sticks to cabinets the way it needs to. We spray on a primer built to bond to wood, laminate, and thermofoil alike, so the color has real grip instead of sitting on top. This is the step most cabinet paint jobs skip, and it's the reason ours hold up.
WHY IT MATTERS
Cheaper painters skip this step to save time and charge less. It's also why their paint peels first and ours doesn't.

DAY 4
SPRAY-APPLIED RENNER COATING
We spray on a Renner 2K coating, a professional-grade Italian finish you won't find at Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore. Applied in a sealed, controlled space, it goes on smooth with no brush or roller marks, and cures hard enough for daily use and kitchen accidents.
WHY IT MATTERS
Some painters say they spray everything, but they spray the doors in a shop and roll the frames in your home. That's cheaper and faster for them, and it's why the finish looks different depending on the lighting. We spray it all, doors and frames, every time.

DAY 5
REINSTALLATION & INSPECTION
Every door and drawer goes back exactly where it came from, down to the hinge. We align everything by hand so gaps and reveals look right, then walk the whole kitchen with you before we call the job done.
WHY IT MATTERS
Crooked doors and uneven gaps are the first sign of a rushed job.
We don't leave until every door lines up right.
HOW TO PREPARE BEFORE WE START
A little preparation goes a long way. Before we start, simply:
You don't need to empty your cabinets, just clean out about 4" from the edge so we can mask properly.
Make sure we can access the kitchen clearly and breakables are moved. We will discuss these steps during the quote.
Clear the countertops off so we have a simple starting point to begin work
Keep our furry friends out of the work area, we love them too so lets keep them safe!
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
HOW WE KEEP YOUR HOME CLEAN
Painting cabinets makes dust and fumes. Here is how we keep both out of the rest of your house.
A SEALED BOOTH IN YOUR KITCHEN
We build a plastic bubble around the work area on day one. Dust stays inside it.
HEPA FILTERS RUNNING ALL DAY
A filter pulls dust and fumes out of the air the whole time we work.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT TIMING
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE FIVE DAYS
Straight answers about what happens during the process.
CAN I USE MY KITCHEN?
Yes, most of it. Your sink, fridge and stove stay in use for the majority of the project. The cabinets don't need to be emptied before we start.
DO I NEED TO LEAVE?
No. People stay home for almost every job. We work normal daytime hours and keep the work inside the kitchen bubble. We respect our clients privacy while in their home.
DOES THE PAINT NEED TO CURE?
Yes. The finish is usable for light use right away. Full cure takes about 14 days, so avoid heavy loading or harsh cleaners on cabinets until then.
WHAT IF SOMETHING IS OFF?
